First things first, let’s talk about presentation. At House of Poke, the art of plating each bowl is paramount. Our customers eat with their eyes first, so crafting visually appealing poke and acai bowls is a critical part of our service. We want our team to take pride in every dish they serve – a commitment to excellence that not only satisfies but delights our guests.
Freshness Front and Center
Next up: freshness. Keeping our ingredients in pristine condition is a top priority, and we count on our fantastic team to maintain this standard. Each ingredient must be fresh, vibrant, and in tip-top shape, ensuring that every bowl we serve meets our high expectations for quality. This focus on freshness makes working here an engaging experience – it’s all about bringing the best to the table, every single day.
Joining Our Team
We’re currently looking to fill part-time positions with a pay range of $16.50 to $20 per hour, based on experience. We run on a biweekly payroll schedule to keep things simple and straightforward. For those joining our team, we are counting on you to have reliable transportation. Our hours of operation are from 11 AM to 7 PM. We’re seeking openers who can start at 10 AM and closers who typically wrap up around 7:30 PM.
Your Role With Us
As part of our team, you’ll be involved in various duties that keep our operations smooth and our customers happy. This includes prepping line items, thawing fish, stocking drinks, maintaining the cleanliness of the front and back of the house, handling dishes, and, of course, plating those beautiful poke and acai bowls. On most days, you’ll be working alongside one or two team members, ensuring everyone supports each other.
